On Saturday 10/29, the 10U Titans won 3 out of 4 games and a 1-inning sudden-death playoff to take the 10U title at the Halloween Havoc Tournament at Adams Park.
After a first-game victory over the Kennworth Bandits of Kennesaw, the Titans lost an 8-inning game against a tough South Cherokee team. They rebounded out of the losers bracket with another win against Kennworth and defeated South Cherokee in Game 4 to force a 1-inning playoff.


The Wheeler HS FastPitch Softball program will be sponsoring summer skills camps for rising 2nd - 5th graders. These camps will be help June 13-16th and July 18-21st at Jim Mau Field located behind East Cobb Middle School. This is a great opportunity to get your daughter out and improve her softball skills and enjoyment of the game. These camps will be led by experienced instructors and coaches. The Titans won the 12U division of the Terrell Mill Classic on April 9, winning four straight games to claim the title against some pretty tough teams - the Kennworth Bandits of Kennesaw, West Georgia Mystics of Bremen, the Hysteria of Conyers and the Georgia Ice from Monroe. Congrats to Sarah, Ellen, Bailey, Ashley, Aubrie, Christina, Kara, Hannah, Heather, Amaiya, Tricia and Sammy, plus coaches Scott, Frank, Brian and Todd. And thanks for the Gatorade shower, girls!

The Titans' first tournament of 2011 resulted in a runner-up finish at Deerlick Park in Douglasville on March 12. Trophy winners were Kara, Aubrie, Hannah, Heather, Tricia, Ellen, Ashley, Amaiya, Tori, Bailey, Sammy and Sarah. The Titans were dominating in the tournament - except when playing those dreaded Lady Spartans!

The 16U Titans took 2nd place this past weekend at Deer Lick Park... The girls made their way to the championship game by holding a 2-1 lead in the 6th inning with bases loaded and 1 out against the Wipeouts. The girls lost to the Bullets in the championship after beating them in Game 1 of the winners bracket.
